The Vaddio DocCAM 20 HDBT OneLINK Bridge Express System is a professional ceiling-mounted document capture and AV connectivity solution designed for classrooms, lecture halls, training facilities, videoconferencing environments, and online learning applications.
The system combines the Vaddio DocCAM 20 HDBT Ceiling-Mounted Document Camera with the OneLINK Bridge Express A/V Interface, providing Full HD 1080p60 video, 20x optical zoom, HDBaseT connectivity, USB 3.0, HDMI, and IP streaming outputs in an integrated professional AV solution.
Using HDBaseT technology, the system can carry camera power, video, and control over a single Cat 5e or Cat 6 cable, simplifying installation while allowing the camera to be positioned hundreds of feet away from the OneLINK Bridge Express.
The Vaddio DocCAM 20 HDBT is a recessed in-ceiling document camera designed to capture documents, demonstrations, instructional materials, and other content from above.
Its 1/2.8" Exmor CMOS sensor provides Full HD video at resolutions up to 1080p60, delivering smooth and detailed imagery for presentations, videoconferencing, recording, and distance-learning applications.
The DocCAM 20 features a 20x optical zoom lens, allowing presenters to capture both larger work surfaces and detailed close-up views.
Its horizontal field of view ranges from approximately 60° at the wide end to 3.3° at the telephoto end, providing substantial flexibility when framing documents, demonstrations, objects, and other presentation materials.
A built-in low-power laser pointer assists with centering and positioning materials beneath the ceiling-mounted camera.
This makes it easier for presenters and instructors to determine where documents, objects, or demonstrations should be positioned within the camera's capture area.
The DocCAM 20 is designed for a recessed in-ceiling installation, keeping the camera above the presentation area rather than occupying valuable desk, lectern, or table space.
This configuration is particularly useful in permanent AV installations where a clean, professional appearance is preferred.
The camera incorporates a OneLINK/HDBaseT PoE+ connection, allowing power, video, and control to be carried through compatible OneLINK equipment.
When paired with the included OneLINK Bridge Express, the system provides a streamlined connection between the ceiling-mounted camera and the room's conferencing, recording, streaming, or presentation equipment.
The Vaddio OneLINK Bridge Express converts the DocCAM's HDBaseT signal into multiple commonly used professional AV formats.
The interface accepts HDBaseT camera video and provides simultaneous HDMI, USB 3.0, and IP streaming outputs, making the camera useful across a wide variety of conferencing and content-capture workflows.
These simultaneous output options make it possible to integrate the DocCAM with computers, displays, conferencing applications, streaming systems, and other professional AV equipment.
The OneLINK Bridge Express can provide video resolutions up to 1080p60 over USB 3.0, allowing the ceiling-mounted DocCAM to function as a professional video source for compatible computers and conferencing systems.
The USB connection provides uncompressed video, making it particularly useful for applications where image quality and low-latency capture are important.
A dedicated HDMI output allows the camera's video to be sent to a display, monitor, video switcher, recorder, or other compatible HDMI equipment.
Because HDMI, USB 3.0, and IP streaming outputs can operate simultaneously, the system provides substantial flexibility for installations requiring multiple destinations.
The OneLINK Bridge Express adds IP streaming capability to the system, enabling the DocCAM video to be incorporated into network-based AV workflows.
This makes the system suitable for applications including:
HDBaseT technology allows the DocCAM to be installed a significant distance from the OneLINK Bridge Express while minimizing the amount of cabling required.
The system supports power, video, and control over a single cable at distances of:
This makes the system particularly useful in larger classrooms, lecture halls, training rooms, and other installations where the AV equipment rack may be located far from the camera.
The OneLINK Bridge Express includes balanced analog audio input and output connections, allowing external audio sources to be incorporated into the system.
Its configurable audio matrix includes AEC (Acoustic Echo Cancellation) functionality, providing additional flexibility for conferencing and collaborative AV applications.
The DocCAM and OneLINK system provides multiple options for camera operation and professional AV integration.
The DocCAM itself has no physical configuration switches. Hardware configuration is handled through its web interface, helping simplify remote administration and system management.
The camera's web interface allows AV administrators and technicians to remotely configure and operate the DocCAM over the network.
This provides a convenient method for system management without requiring physical access to a ceiling-mounted camera.
