Product Summary

Sharp XP-52ZL Short Zoom Lens — Professional Short-Throw Projection Optic

The Sharp XP-52ZL is a professional short-throw zoom lens designed to expand the installation flexibility of select Sharp projector models, making it ideal for corporate environments, higher education lecture halls, museums, houses of worship, and other large venue applications. This optional lens enhances projector placement options in spaces with limited throw distances, enabling crisp, large-format images even in compact setups.

Engineered with a motorized 1.34× zoom and power focus, the XP-52ZL allows remote adjustment of image size and focus without physical access to the lens, simplifying installation and maintenance. With a throw ratio range of 0.65:1 to 0.87:1, this lens supports a wide range of screen sizes and distances, projecting diagonal images from approximately 60 inches up to 500 inches when paired with compatible Sharp projectors. The optical design features an aperture range of f/1.84 to f/2.25 and a focal length of 14.4 mm to 19.1 mm, delivering bright, high-quality visuals with excellent depth and clarity throughout the zoom range.

Built with a durable metal and precision glass construction, the XP-52ZL is backed by a manufacturer warranty and offers reliable long-term imaging performance. Its short-throw capability is especially valuable when ceiling or rear installation space is constrained, and when a larger projected image is needed without increasing projector distance from the screen.
