LV-HD420

The LV-HD420 is a compact and portable DLP projector offering native Full HD resolution, a high 4200 lumen brightness and 8000:1 contrast ratio*1 for clear, sharp images in a variety of spaces such as classrooms and office environments.
The lightweight design and convenient integration of Mobile High Definition Link (MHL)*2,3,4 for ease of use with smartphones and tablets make it a practical choice for corporate, small businesses, K–12 education and higher
education. Plus, with no need for air filters, the LV-HD420 reduces maintenance requirements, which minimizes downtime.

High Image Quality
Native Full HD resolution (1920 x 1080) produces a 16:9 aspect ratio picture for a 320-inch display area – larger than XGA, with a higher pixel density for a sharper, clearer picture. The projector’s
single-chip Digital Light Processing (DLP) technology achieves a high brightness of 4200 lumens and contrast ratio of 8000:1*1 so clarity, detail and color are strong, whether projecting graphics, pictures, text or video – even in
challenging lighting conditions.

Compact and Lightweight
At just 7.5 pounds, the LV-HD420 is both light and compact in design so it can be easily moved from one room to the next. A built-in 10W speaker removes the need to bring separate sound equipment.

Versatile Connectivity
The LV-HD420 features two HDMI ports, enabling 1080p, high-definition transmission of video and audio. MHL*2,3,4 is supported for convenient, immediate projection from handheld devices like
smartphones and tablets, providing opportunities for added collaboration, interaction and sharing during presentations. Comprehensive connections also cover inputs for RS-232 and RJ-45 control, a USB type A port for power supply and USB Mini
B for service, as well as standard RCA video and audio input and output.

For additional network management control and integration into existing systems, the LV-HD420 is also compatible with PJLink and Crestron RoomView, allowing monitoring of lamp hours and usage to reduce maintenance and downtime.
It also supports e-Control for remote connection via internet browser using the projector’s IP address to power on or off, adjust settings and much more.

Peace of Mind
The LV-HD420 is backed by Canon’s Lamp Based Projector Warranty and Lamp Limited Warranty. The projector is guaranteed to be free from defects for 3 years and the Lamp for 120 days. In addition, Canon USA’s
Advanced Warranty Exchange Service Program*5 provides you with enhanced warranty service in addition to traditional "mail-in" repair service.

Native Full HD Resolution (1920 x 1080)

Canon's Full HD resolution brings bright, true widescreen display of intricately detailed HD video content and still images with outstanding color richness to midsize room installations in high resolution Full HD (1920 x 1080) at a competitive price.Content is projected without compression. Widescreen graphics, text and other visual content from laptops and desktop computers are shown in accurate proportions, just as it appears on most monitor screens. Widely used and highly popular, Full HD
resolution makes this projector especially suited to applications where native content being shown is already in Full HD resolution.

DLP Technology

This projector utilizes Single-chip Digital Light Processing (DLP) technology which is a widely utilized projection technology that creates natural and lifelike images. The DLP technology utilizes a 6-segment color wheel along
with a reflective Digital Micromirror Device (DMD) to produce video and images with high brightness. The resulting high-resolution video and images maintain the details inherent in what you are showing.

Flexible Image Quality Adjustments

To achieve the best possible picture for your setting and presentation content, this projector features flexible image adjustment options. These include Multiple Image Modes and a Screen Color Correction function.

Multiple Image Modes

Image Modes provide different variations of color reproduction characteristics suitable for the image type and projection environment. They include:

Presentation: Ideal for somewhat bright rooms when text needs to be clear, such as when part of a video presentation.

Standard: Ideal for bright rooms, and when using content from computer screens or motion
picture content.

sRGB: Complies with the sRGB standards and is intended to optimize the projection of photographs from sRGB compatible digital cameras.

Movie/Cinema: Intended for richly colorful videos
or images.

User1/User2: Two user-defined modes that make it simple for users to customize and store up to two unique image modes. This allows multiple presenters to share the projector while keeping the image settings optimized
for diverse subject matters or sources. In this mode, you may also make advanced color adjustments through the management of the six colors (R/G/B/C/M/Y) on the color wheel.

Screen Color Correction Mode

When projecting to a non-white, colored surface, colors of the projected image may appear different from the original image. The Screen Color feature helps to correctly match the colors of projected images to the color of many projected surfaces.
