Introducing the Atlas Sound MUSICAVC-100Z 8Ω Stereo Volume Control , a high-quality solution for achieving clear and distortion-free stereo music reproduction when powering one or multiple speaker pairs with a single amplifier. The MUSICAVC-100Z is designed as an 8Ω device and comes with a decora-style wall plate available in three colors, ensuring a seamless match with any decor.
With a frequency response of 20Hz - 20kHz (-3dB, -0), this volume control delivers reliable and accurate audio performance across the entire audible range. It offers eleven steps of attenuation, including a positive off position, allowing for precise control over the volume level. The first six steps provide 3dB attenuation for fine-tuning at low listening levels, followed by three steps of 6dB attenuation, one step of 9dB attenuation, and a final step of 28dB attenuation before reaching the "off" position.
The control knob has a diameter of 1-1/4" and projects a mere 11/16" for unobtrusive yet functional operation. The assemblies themselves have a depth of 2-11/16" and can be easily mounted into a standard 20 cu. in E.O. Box (to be provided by others). For added convenience, each volume control is supplied with matching plastic parts in white, ivory, and almond. These parts include the plate, knob, and trim piece, allowing you to customize the color to suit your preference by simply swapping out all three plastic components.
