The Sony SRG-A40 4K PTZ Camera with Built-In AI is a professional intelligent PTZ camera designed for corporate presentations, education, lecture capture, conferences, houses of worship, live events, and remote production. Featuring a highly sensitive 1/2.5"-type Exmor R CMOS sensor, UHD 4K imaging, and integrated AI analytics, the SRG-A40 can automatically detect, frame, and track presenters without requiring a dedicated camera operator.
Advanced auto-framing technology combines intelligent subject recognition with smooth pan, tilt, and zoom movements to maintain natural-looking composition as a presenter moves throughout the room.
Integrated AI Auto-Framing
The SRG-A40 incorporates powerful AI-driven video analytics that automatically detect and track a presenter within the camera's field of view.
As the presenter moves, the camera automatically adjusts its pan, tilt, and zoom to maintain natural framing. The system can detect and follow the intended subject even when other people are present in the frame, reducing the need for manual camera operation.
Three Auto-Framing Modes
Choose from three shooting modes to accommodate different presentation and production requirements:
- Full Body
- Waist
- Close-Up
Each mode provides center, left, and right framing positions, giving users additional control over composition while retaining the benefits of automatic subject tracking.
UHD 4K Exmor R Imaging
The highly sensitive 1/2.5"-type Exmor R CMOS sensor captures crisp UHD 4K images with extremely low noise, including when operating in low-light environments.

Camera Position & Freeze Presets
Camera position and freeze preset capabilities provide greater control over transitions between shots.

Built-In Tally Lamp
An integrated tally lamp provides presenters and production personnel with an immediate visual indication of the camera's operating status.

All Purchase Orders are subject to approval. Simply email, fax or mail your purchase order and please ensure your P/O contains the following information:

- Tax ID# (for tax Exempt orders, please see TAX EXEMPT section below)
- Purchase Order Number
- Date needed (please note: Up to 3-5 days are needed to process requests. This does not include delivery time.
- Authorized signature (Your purchase order can only be accepted when accompanied by the signature of the officer authorizing the purchase and when submitted on your organization's official purchase order form or letterhead.)
