The PTZOptics 20X-SDI Gen2 PTZ Camera (White) is a professional Full HD camera built for live streaming, broadcast conferencing, corporate AV, education, houses of worship, and multicamera production. Featuring a 1/2.7" 2.1MP CMOS sensor, 20x optical zoom, and professional 3G-SDI output, the camera captures smooth 1080p HD video at up to 60/50 fps while providing extensive streaming, connectivity, and remote-control capabilities.

Part of PTZOptics' second-generation camera lineup, the 20X-SDI Gen2 expands upon earlier models with higher frame-rate video and support for H.265 and MJPEG streaming in addition to H.264.

Powerful 20x Optical Zoom

The integrated 4.4–88.5mm lens provides a versatile 20x optical zoom range, allowing the camera to capture wider meeting-room views as well as detailed close-ups of presenters and participants.

Professional 3G-SDI Connectivity

The 3G-SDI output provides a reliable connection to compatible professional video switchers and production equipment for broadcast and conferencing applications.

In addition to SDI, the camera provides HDMI, LAN, and composite video outputs. SDI, HDMI, and LAN can operate simultaneously at the same selected resolution, giving integrators greater flexibility when distributing video to multiple destinations.

The composite output operates separately at 480i/576i resolution.

Professional IP Streaming

The camera's LAN connection supports direct network streaming, allowing video to be distributed to compatible streaming services, content delivery networks, and other IP destinations.

NewTek TriCaster Integration

The 20X-SDI Gen2 can be integrated with compatible NewTek TriCaster production systems. Multiple cameras can be connected and controlled directly through TriCaster software using supported RS-232 workflows.

IP-based TriCaster control is also possible with compatible third-party software.

Programmable Presets

Store frequently used camera positions for rapid recall during meetings, broadcasts, lectures, and live productions.

  • 0.1° preset accuracy

The included IR remote can also control up to four cameras and provides access to camera settings through the on-screen display.

Open-Source Customization

The PTZOptics Gen2 platform supports customization through HTML commands, providing developers and AV integrators with additional flexibility when incorporating the camera into specialized control, automation, and streaming systems.

Flexible Installation

The camera can be used as a desktop-mounted PTZ solution or installed overhead using an optional PTZOptics ceiling-mount bracket.

This installation flexibility makes it suitable for both temporary production setups and permanently integrated AV systems.
