Designed for flexible system integration, the AW-UE40W supports HDMI, USB, and IP video output, along with NDI|HX Version 2 and SRT protocol support. Panasonic's Direct Drive System provides responsive and quiet PTZ movement, while PoE+, IP, USB, and RS-422 control help simplify installation and operation in modern networked AV environments.

1/2.5" 4K MOS Sensor

The AW-UE40W incorporates a 1/2.5" 4K MOS image sensor designed to capture detailed video for professional communication, streaming, and production applications.

Its 4K imaging capability makes the camera suitable for applications where clear, professional video is essential for both local and remote audiences.

UHD 4K30 Video

The AW-UE40W supports resolutions up to UHD 4K at 30 fps, delivering detailed video for professional AV and online communication.

The camera can accommodate UHD 4K and HD simultaneous output, providing additional flexibility when different destinations require different video formats.

Powerful 24x Optical Zoom

A 24x optical zoom provides substantial reach for capturing presenters, instructors, speakers, performers, and other subjects positioned throughout larger rooms.

The optical zoom allows operators to move between wide room views and detailed close-ups without physically repositioning the camera.

Extended iZoom

When additional reach is required, the AW-UE40W provides extended intelligent zoom capabilities.

The camera supports:

• Up to 28x iZoom in UHD
• Up to 36x iZoom in HD

This extended zoom range is especially useful for larger classrooms, auditoriums, worship spaces, conference facilities, and presentation environments.

Wide 74.1° Horizontal Viewing Angle

A wide 74.1° horizontal angle of view enables the camera to capture expansive areas when operating at its widest setting.

Combined with its 24x optical zoom, the AW-UE40W can accommodate everything from wide establishing shots to tightly framed individual subjects.

Panasonic Direct Drive System

The AW-UE40W incorporates Panasonic's Direct Drive System, designed to improve PTZ responsiveness while providing quiet operation.

Smooth, responsive camera movement makes it easier to reposition the camera during presentations, lectures, meetings, worship services, and live productions.

Quiet PTZ Operation

Quiet operation allows the AW-UE40W to function unobtrusively in environments where distracting mechanical noise is undesirable.

This makes the camera particularly well suited for classrooms, conference rooms, houses of worship, studios, and presentation spaces.

HDMI 1.4 Video Output

Integrated HDMI 1.4 connectivity enables the AW-UE40W to connect with compatible displays, video switchers, capture devices, recorders, and other professional AV equipment.

HDMI provides a straightforward option for incorporating the camera into conventional video systems.

USB Video Output

USB video connectivity enables integration with compatible computer-based conferencing, streaming, and communication applications.

This provides a convenient option for online meetings, remote learning, webinars, presentations, and other computer-driven video workflows.

Professional IP Video

The AW-UE40W supports IP-based video transmission, making it suitable for modern networked AV and remote-production environments.

IP connectivity provides greater installation flexibility while helping simplify video distribution across compatible network infrastructure.

NDI|HX Version 2 Support

Support for NDI|HX Version 2 enables the AW-UE40W to integrate with compatible NDI-based production environments.

Network-based video transport can simplify signal routing while providing greater flexibility when connecting cameras with compatible production systems.

SRT Protocol Support

The AW-UE40W also supports the SRT protocol, expanding its capabilities for network-based video transmission.

SRT support makes the camera particularly useful for professional streaming and remote video workflows.

H.264 & H.265 Streaming

Support for H.264 and H.265 video compression enables efficient network video transmission.

The AW-UE40W can stream video at up to 1080p to compatible platforms and systems, making it a strong solution for online education, webinars, worship streaming, corporate broadcasts, and other internet-based video applications.

PoE+ Support

PoE+ compatibility helps simplify camera installation by allowing compatible network infrastructure to provide power through the Ethernet connection.

This can reduce the amount of separate cabling required at the camera location and contribute to cleaner professional installations.

Flexible Camera Control

The AW-UE40W supports several camera control options, including:

• IP control
• USB control
• RS-422 control

Multiple control methods make it easier to integrate the camera with different professional AV and production environments.

Updated Camera Web Interface

A redesigned camera web interface provides expanded options for camera control and configuration.

The interface also incorporates a dark mode, providing a more comfortable viewing environment for operators working in dimly lit production spaces and control rooms.

Stereo Mic/Line Audio Input

A stereo mini-jack mic/line input allows compatible external audio sources to be connected directly to the camera.

This provides additional flexibility when integrating microphone or line-level audio into compatible streaming and video workflows.

Simplified System Integration

The combination of HDMI, USB, IP video, PoE+, NDI|HX, SRT, and multiple control options gives the AW-UE40W the flexibility required for streamlined professional installations.

Its extensive network capabilities can help simplify wiring while providing smooth operation across a range of AV environments.

Easy Online Video Streaming

The AW-UE40W is designed to make professional online video easier to implement.
