1/2.3" MOS Sensor

The AW-HE42W features a 1/2.3" MOS sensor designed to deliver detailed Full HD images for professional AV and production environments.

Its imaging system provides the quality required for presentations, lectures, conferences, performances, worship services, events, and other professional video applications.

1920 x 1080 Full HD Resolution

With a 1920 x 1080 Full HD resolution, the AW-HE42W captures detailed video for live production, streaming, conferencing, recording, and presentation applications.

Full HD imaging provides the clarity needed to capture presenters, instructors, performers, speakers, and other subjects across a variety of professional environments.

Powerful 20x Optical Zoom

The AW-HE42W incorporates a 20x optical zoom lens, providing substantial reach for larger rooms and venues.

Operators can transition from wide establishing shots to detailed close-ups without physically repositioning the camera.

Extendable iA Zoom

The camera's 20x optical zoom can be extended using iA Zoom, providing additional magnification when greater reach is required.

This added flexibility is particularly valuable for auditoriums, lecture halls, event spaces, houses of worship, and other larger venues.

High Dynamic Range

Integrated High Dynamic Range (HDR) functionality helps maintain greater image detail when scenes contain significant differences between bright and dark areas.

HDR is particularly useful when capturing subjects positioned against windows, displays, stage lighting, or other bright backgrounds.

Optimized for Backlit Conditions

The AW-HE42W's HDR capability makes it well suited for challenging backlit environments.

By improving image reproduction across areas of contrasting brightness, the camera can provide more balanced video in conference rooms, classrooms, worship spaces, and event venues.

Professional 3G-SDI Output

Integrated 3G-SDI output allows the AW-HE42W to connect with compatible professional production equipment.

This provides a dependable video interface for professional switchers, recorders, monitors, routers, and other SDI-based AV infrastructure.

HDMI Video Output

The AW-HE42W also provides HDMI video output, allowing straightforward integration with compatible displays, switchers, capture devices, recorders, and presentation systems.

USB Video Connectivity

Integrated USB connectivity expands the camera's compatibility with computer-based video applications.

USB provides another option for conferencing, streaming, recording, and software-based video workflows.

LAN & IP Video

The AW-HE42W supports video over LAN, providing connectivity for network-based production and professional AV environments.

IP connectivity makes the camera suitable for centralized video systems where remote access and network-based workflows are important.

Multiple Video Interfaces

With 3G-SDI, HDMI, USB, and LAN connectivity, the AW-HE42W provides extensive integration flexibility.

Organizations can incorporate the camera into conventional SDI and HDMI systems, computer-based applications, or modern IP video environments.

PoE+ Support

The AW-HE42W supports PoE+ (Power over Ethernet Plus), allowing compatible network infrastructure to supply camera power through the LAN connection.

PoE+ can help lower installation costs by reducing the need for dedicated power cabling at the camera location.

Single-Cable Solution

Support for PoE+ and network-based connectivity provides a streamlined approach to remote video and audio capture.

Using network infrastructure for multiple camera functions can simplify installation, particularly when cameras are mounted on ceilings, walls, or other difficult-to-access locations.

Optional NDI|HX

The AW-HE42W offers an NDI|HX option for compatible network-based production environments.

NDI|HX provides additional flexibility for organizations transitioning toward IP-based video workflows and centralized production systems.

Remote Production Ready

The combination of professional video outputs, LAN connectivity, powerful zoom, and PoE+ makes the AW-HE42W an excellent fit for remote-production environments.

Network-based operation can reduce the need for personnel at the camera location while providing greater flexibility for centralized video production.

Designed for Live Production

Professional 3G-SDI and IP video outputs provide the dependable connectivity required for live-production workflows.

The AW-HE42W can serve as part of a professional multi-camera PTZ system for presentations, performances, events, worship services, lectures, and other productions.

Corporate & Education Applications

With Full HD imaging, powerful zoom, and multiple connectivity options, the AW-HE42W is well suited for corporate and educational installations.

The camera can capture presenters, instructors, students, presentation areas, and wider room views from a remotely positioned camera location.

Professional White Finish

The AW-HE42W features a white finish, providing a clean and discreet appearance for classrooms, conference facilities, houses of worship, lecture halls, and other architecturally sensitive installations.
