The Shure SLXD24/B58 is a wireless handheld microphone system designed for presenters and performers who need reliability, ease of setup, and superior sound quality. Built around a rugged, single-channel, half-rack receiver with removable antennas, this system is ideal for portable rigs or permanent installations in small- to medium-sized venues, event spaces, conference rooms, houses of worship, and educational facilities.

Operating in the UHF band, the SLX-D system transmits high-quality, 24-bit digital audio with over 120 dB of dynamic range, delivering crisp and detailed sound. The system uses Digital Predictive Switching Diversity to protect the transmission from interference, ensuring a solid and reliable RF signal without dropouts.

Handheld Transmitter with Beta 58A Dynamic Supercardioid Capsule

The included SLXD2 handheld transmitter features an interchangeable microphone capsule design and comes equipped with the Beta 58A dynamic capsule. This capsule has a supercardioid pickup pattern that focuses on speech, reducing feedback on loud stages. The transmitter, made from lightweight metal, offers a selectable 1/10mW RF power output and a transmission range of up to 330 feet. It can operate for up to 8 hours on two AA batteries or an SB903 rechargeable battery (available separately).

Rugged Receiver with Intuitive Controls

The all-metal, rackmount SLXD4 receiver features an intuitive LCD interface with meters for RF, battery status, and audio output. It offers 60 dB of gain control and both mic/line XLR and 1/4" instrument outputs. Additional features include automatic frequency scanning and IR sync to easily link the transmitter and receiver to the same frequency.

Expandable and Network-Friendly

With the capability to support up to 32 mic channels simultaneously, the SLX-D system can grow with your needs. Setting up multiple systems is fast and easy via the Ethernet port, which links them together for quick, coordinated frequency scans from a single receiver.
