Shure QLXD14/83 Digital Wireless Lavalier Microphone System: Professional Audio Excellence for Dynamic Presentations

Versatile Application: The Shure QLXD14/83 rackmount digital wireless lavalier microphone system stands as an ideal choice for instructors, presenters, and broadcasters requiring professional-quality audio. Engineered for reliability, ease of use, and versatility, it excels in TV broadcasts, sound-reinforcement in medium-sized venues, houses of worship, conference facilities, educational institutions, and corporate setups.

Advanced Digital Audio Technology: Operating in the UHF band, the QLXD14/83 ensures the transmission of pristine 24-bit/48 kHz digital audio, delivering clarity, accurate low-end reproduction, and crisp transient response. Its Digital Predictive Switching Diversity safeguards transmissions from interference, ensuring solid RF signal stability without compromising audio quality. With support for up to 60 mic channels at the same location, this system is equipped for diverse audio needs.

Omnidirectional Lavalier Microphone: The system includes the WL183 omnidirectional lavalier microphone, specifically optimized for speech intelligibility. With an omnidirectional polar pattern, it captures sound evenly from all directions, allowing flexible mic positioning. Plugging into the locking TA4M connection on the compact QLXD1 bodypack transmitter, the microphone accommodates a wide variety of speaking styles and mic levels, including instrument-level audio.

Rugged Bodypack Transmitter: The QLXD1 bodypack transmitter, crafted with a rugged all-metal design, features a backlit LCD that displays crucial information. The adjustable input sensitivity caters to various speaking styles and mic levels, with the ability to lock out accidental changes during performances. Infrared syncing to the receiver is swift with a quick press on the Sync button.

Digital Switching Diversity Reception: Operating in the H50: 534 to 598 MHz UHF band, the system boasts a 64 MHz tuning range and 2560 selectable frequencies. The Digital Predictive Switching Diversity employs a microprocessor to switch antennas before dropouts occur, ensuring seamless and reliable performance. Two detachable 1/2 wave dipole antennas contribute to enhanced signal reception.

Intelligent Setup and Monitoring: The QLXD4 receiver features a scanning function that automatically finds, prioritizes, and deploys clean frequencies to transmitters via IR sync. Providing up to 60 dB of adjustable gain with an internal limiter prevents digital clipping. Intuitive front-panel controls, including audio and RF LED meters and a peak indicator, enable quick visual checks. Ethernet networking facilitates real-time, precision monitoring and control through Shure's Wireless Workbench (WWB) software for Mac/Windows. Compatibility with external controllers such as AMX and Creston adds further flexibility. Remote adjustments are also possible via the ShurePlus Channels Mobile App for iOS devices.

Smart Power Management: The system incorporates smart power management options, including the use of the SB900A lithium-ion rechargeable battery with SBC charger (both available separately). Remaining battery life can be monitored in hours and minutes from the receiver's front panel.

Enhanced Reliability: Adding UA874 active antennas or PA805 passive antennas increases the system's range and offers heightened protection against interference. The UA844+SWB antenna distribution system (available separately) expands antenna pairs, providing more on-air channels in less setup time.

Variety of Options: Shure offers a myriad of lavalier, headset, and handheld microphone options, allowing users to adapt the QLX-D system to evolving needs. The WL185 (cardioid) and WL184 (supercardioid) lavalier mics cater to louder events with narrower, feedback-resistant pickup patterns. The discrete MX153 sub-miniature earset mic ensures exceptional clarity in spoken word applications. The PGA31 is a comfortable, durable headset microphone suitable for active performances. The QLXD2 handheld transmitter is available with various mic capsule choices for users who prefer the flexibility of a handheld microphone.

Immerse your audience in professional-grade audio with the Shure QLXD14/83 Digital Wireless Lavalier Microphone System—a reliable, flexible, and top-tier solution for dynamic presentations.
