Introducing the AST-6 speaker switching system, a versatile solution designed to enhance the efficiency and functionality of your audio setup. This compact unit offers advanced features and protection mechanisms to ensure optimal performance and convenience.
The AST-6 is equipped with an impedance protection circuit that operates in pairs, allowing each set of speakers to connect directly to the amplifier simultaneously, maximizing efficiency and eliminating the need for manual switching. With complete isolation between the left and right channels, your speakers are protected against any potential damage or interference.
Measuring at 17" W x 15⁄8" H x 57⁄8" D (432 x 41 x 149mm), the AST-6 can be easily mounted on a shelf or a 19" rack using the supplied brackets. The Euro-style screw terminals make wiring hassle-free, accommodating 12 to 24-gauge wire for convenient installation. The push-button on/off controls for each connection offer simple and intuitive operation, while the mar-resistant black finish adds a touch of elegance to your audio system.
The AST-6 provides switching control for up to six speaker pairs, allowing you to configure your audio setup according to your preferences. It supports a combination of 8 and/or 16 Ohm speakers, and includes a switch for safe connection of 4 ohm speakers. Additionally, the AST-6 features separate on/off controls for each speaker pair and an A-B source selector switch for overall system control.
Please note that the AST-6 does not include volume controls. However, you can easily adjust the speaker volume using individual room volume controls such as the AtlasIED DAT-8 or SAT-8 Series (not included), providing customized audio levels for each space.

All Purchase Orders are subject to approval. Simply email, fax or mail your purchase order and please ensure your P/O contains the following information:

- Tax ID# (for tax Exempt orders, please see TAX EXEMPT section below)

- Date needed (please note: Up to 3-5 days are needed to process requests. This does not include delivery time.
- Authorized signature (Your purchase order can only be accepted when accompanied by the signature of the officer authorizing the purchase and when submitted on your organization's official purchase order form or letterhead.)
- Purchase orders must be in excess of $75 (excluding shipping). All prices are in USD$
- Sales tax is charged only on orders shipping to the state of FL
