Optoma ZK551 – 5100-Lumen Pixel-Shift 4K Laser DLP Projector
The Optoma ZK551 is a compact, professional-grade DuraCore laser projector engineered for reliable deployment in classrooms, meeting rooms, and corporate or educational facilities. It delivers high brightness, long-life laser performance, wireless presentation capabilities, and streamlined remote device management through the Optoma Management Suite (OMS).
Wireless Screen Sharing with Miracast
The ZK551 allows users to share content wirelessly from a wide range of devices. With Miracast compatibility, presenters can mirror screens from Windows, macOS, Android, and iOS systems without the need for a LAN connection. This enables fast, convenient sharing of presentations, videos, and images, making the projector ideal for both classroom and meeting room environments.
AirPlay and Chromecast features require a connection to a local Wi-Fi network, and Google Pixel devices do not support Wi-Fi Direct.
Long-Life DuraCore Laser Technology
Powered by DuraCore laser technology, the ZK551 provides up to 30,000 hours of maintenance-free operation in Eco mode. The light source maintains consistent brightness over its lifetime and offers instant on/off capability with improved energy efficiency compared to traditional lamp-based projectors. This makes it a strong long-term solution for facilities that rely on predictable performance and low ownership costs.
Remote Management and Control
The projector supports a wide range of professional control and integration protocols, including RS-232, Crestron RoomView, Extron IPlink, AMX, and Optoma Management Suite. Through OMS, IT managers can monitor device status in real time, adjust settings, schedule power operations, and troubleshoot remotely. The platform provides a centralized environment that helps maintain uptime and ensures efficient AV fleet management.
Installation Flexibility
The ZK551 is designed for adaptable installation in a variety of room configurations. It features a 1.6x optical zoom for flexible placement, vertical lens shift to simplify alignment, and ±30 degrees of both horizontal and vertical keystone correction for clean image geometry. The projector supports full 360-degree operation as well as portrait mode, making it suitable for specialty installations and digital signage applications.

We accept Purchase Orders from all Schools, Universities, Major Government Agencies and Not-for-profit Organizations within the United States and Canada Only. All Purchase Orders are subject to approval. Simply email, fax or mail your purchase order and please ensure your P/O contains the following information:
- Contact name, email address & telephone number Note: An email address is required to receive order/shipping confirmation
- Billing name & address
- Shipping address
- Tax ID# (for tax Exempt orders, please see TAX EXEMPT section below)
- Purchase Order Number
- Date needed (please note: Up to 3-5 days are needed to process requests. This does not include delivery time.
- Authorized signature (Your purchase order can only be accepted when accompanied by the signature of the officer authorizing the purchase and when submitted on your organization's official purchase order form or letterhead.)
- Purchase orders must be in excess of $75 (excluding shipping). All prices are in USD$
- Sales tax is charged only on orders shipping to the state of FL
