Introducing the Atlas Sound Strategically Hidden Subwoofer 60-Watts 70V/100V Transformer (Black) SHS-LF, a powerful and discreet subwoofer designed to deliver optimal deep bass performance. Featuring four low-frequency drivers housed within a concealed enclosure, this subwoofer is sure to impress listeners with its immersive and impactful sound.
The SHS-LF comes equipped with a 70V/100V transformer that includes primary taps at 1.9, 3.8, 7.5, 15, 30, and 60 watts (@70.7V). This allows for seamless integration and balancing of the subwoofer with full-range speakers, eliminating the need for separate amplification. The tap selector switch also includes a transformer bypass setting for 8Ω/direct coupled applications, providing added flexibility in system configuration.
Designed with installers in mind, the SHS-LF features an integrated rail system that simplifies the installation process. All necessary parts, including the tile rails, are built directly into the enclosure, eliminating the need for rail screws. Once the four rails are pulled out from the enclosure, it is ready for installation. Installers only need to drill a 2.75" hole into the ceiling tile, set the product through the hole, and secure it by screwing on the adaptive dispersion lens.
The SHS-LF includes the Adaptive Dispersion Lens, which can be configured in two different ways to suit various applications. For installations with ceiling heights between 10' and 14', the 8mm dispersion lens with the solid lens cover attached is recommended. For installations with ceiling heights above 14' or in applications that require maximum output, the direct fire lens with the perforated panel attached should be used.
Thanks to its concealed design, the SHS-LF seamlessly blends into its surroundings. It incorporates a patented 3" diameter dispersion lens with a micro trim ring, ensuring a discreet visual appearance once installed. The subwoofer's size is minimized to that of a high-end ceiling sprinkler head, providing a clean and unobtrusive look.
