Sony SRG-120N 4K NDI PTZ Camera with 12x Optical Zoom – White
The Sony SRG-120N 4K NDI PTZ Camera is a professional networked camera designed for lecture capture, corporate meetings, education, presentations, live streaming, and professional AV installations. Featuring an 8.5MP 1/2.5" Exmor R CMOS sensor, 12x optical zoom, smooth high-speed PTZ movement, and flexible HDMI, 3G-SDI, and IP connectivity, the camera delivers high-quality video while simplifying installation and remote operation.
Included 4K and NDI|HX license keys unlock UHD 4K capture and NDI-based network video workflows.
UHD 4K Video
After activation with the included 4K license, the SRG-120N captures video at resolutions up to UHD 4K at 30 fps.
Its sensitive 1/2.5" Exmor R CMOS sensor provides approximately 8.5MP resolution and is designed to produce detailed images with low noise, including in dimly lit environments.
12x Optical Zoom
The integrated lens provides 12x optical zoom with a focal length range of 4.4 to 52.8mm.
A wide horizontal viewing angle of approximately 70° allows the camera to cover meeting rooms, classrooms, and lecture spaces while retaining the ability to zoom in for tighter shots of speakers and presenters.
Smooth High-Speed PTZ Movement
The integrated PTZ mechanism provides extensive camera positioning with:
- 340° pan range
- 110° tilt range
- Pan speeds up to 300° per second
- Tilt speeds up to 126° per second
- Manual and automatic focus
This combination allows the camera to rapidly reposition between subjects while providing precise framing.
PTZ Motion Sync
Sony's PTZ Motion Sync technology coordinates separate pan, tilt, and zoom movements to produce smooth, professional-looking transitions.
Rather than having each axis move independently in a distracting manner, PTZ Motion Sync blends camera movement for more natural transitions during presentations and productions.
Picture Freeze Preset
The Picture Freeze Preset function maintains a steady image for viewers while the camera physically moves to another preset position.
This helps conceal rapid camera repositioning and prevents audiences from seeing potentially distracting movements between preset shots.
HDMI, 3G-SDI & IP Connectivity
The SRG-120N provides flexible video connectivity for both traditional and network-based AV systems.

SRT (Secure Reliable Transport) provides a method for transmitting video with lower latency and improved stability across less predictable network connections.
The camera can also stream directly to compatible online streaming services.
PoE+ Single-Cable Installation
Power over Ethernet Plus (PoE+) simplifies installation by allowing a compatible network connection to carry camera power alongside network video and control.
This reduces the number of separate cables required at the camera location and provides greater flexibility when installing cameras in classrooms, lecture halls, conference rooms, and other professional spaces.
Lecture Capture & AI Integration
The SRG-120N can be used with Sony's REA-C1000 Edge Analytics Appliance for enhanced lecture and presentation workflows.
The AI-based system can track a speaker's movements and automatically generate a cut-out image of the presenter, making the combination particularly useful for education and lecture capture applications.
Picture Setting File
Sony's Picture Setting file function helps streamline multi-camera deployments by allowing consistent camera settings to be applied across multiple compatible cameras.

- Tax ID# (for tax Exempt orders, please see TAX EXEMPT section below)

- Date needed (please note: Up to 3-5 days are needed to process requests. This does not include delivery time.
- Authorized signature (Your purchase order can only be accepted when accompanied by the signature of the officer authorizing the purchase and when submitted on your organization's official purchase order form or letterhead.)
