PT-MZ682 Series: Advancing Eco-friendly Innovation

Sustainability is a significant factor for enterprises and educational institutions. Procurement managers aim to invest in systems that support the organization's sustainability objectives by selecting efficient AV technology that reduces waste. The PT-MZ682 Series mitigates environmental impact throughout the projector’s lifecycle, from sourcing and production to transportation, installation, operation, and disposal. It signifies a considerable advancement towards sustainability without compromising performance. In fact, the display is more luminous, operational noise is diminished, and user-friendliness is improved.

Projector Body Utilizes Recycled Materials

The PT-MZ682 Series’s sustainability journey begins even before it reaches your hands. In addition to utilizing responsibly sourced materials, the main projector body incorporates approximately 10% recycled resins, thereby reducing the use of new materials. By endorsing eco-conscious manufacturing processes and implementing recycling initiatives at the end of the product's life, your organization contributes to minimizing environmental impact both during operation and throughout the entire lifecycle of the product.

Enhanced Brightness with Lower Consumption

Improvements to the optical engine result in higher brightness for every model in the new series while greatly boosting energy efficiency. For instance, the PT-MZ682 delivers 8,200 lm with a maximum power consumption of 465 W, compared to the previous PT-MZ880 model, which produced 8,000 lm at 490 W. This translates to a rating of 17.6 lm/W and an 8% increase in efficiency. Save on energy expenses and lower the carbon footprint of each unit in your fleet.

Note: Maximum consumption value in NORMAL Mode on AC 100–120 V power.

Measurement, measuring conditions, and notation methods comply with ISO/IEC 21118: 2020 international standards. Value is the average of all products when shipped.

Auto Power On Function Saves Wasted Energy

Similar to your PC, Panasonic projectors enter a "sleep" mode after a certain period of inactivity and shut down once the Quick Startup period ends to conserve energy. If playback needs to resume after this period, the projector must be manually powered on again. To bypass this, some users either disable the Quick Startup timer or leave the projector running with the shutter closed, which wastes energy. The PT-MZ682 Series addresses this problem with Auto Power On. This innovative feature automatically powers the projector on and resumes playback when an input signal is detected, even if the projector is turned off. This allows presenters to pause and continue their presentations without major interruptions and enables administrators to achieve energy savings across their institutions.

Settings cannot be made in the following cases: When is set to or when is set to in the menu. Auto Power On is supported when the input signal is transmitted via HDMI™ or COMPUTER IN terminals.

Lamp-free Laser Saves Resources and Waste

The PT-MZ682 Series boasts a SOLID SHINE Laser light source that requires no maintenance for up to 20,000 hours.
